Charlotte Jean Parlier, age 21, died Sunday, May 22, in Knoxville, Tennessee, as the result of an auto accident. She was born at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, but had lived in Tennessee for the past 16 years. She was the beloved daughter of Rebecca and Mark Finley of Rogersville and the daughter of Lester Parlier of South Carolina. Charlotte was a 2001 graduate of Happy Valley High School and had attended East Tennessee State University. Her maternal grandparents, Barbara Douglas of Aiken, South Carolina, Bob Douglas, formerly of Johnson City, and an aunt, Bethe Rittenberg of Charleston, South Carolina, preceded her in death. Survivors are two aunts and uncles, Barbara and Mark Schmidt of Clifton, Virginia, and Lucille and Bill Douglas of Stafford, Virginia; an uncle, Charles Rittenberg of Sullivan?s Island, South Carolina; and her stepgrandmother, Marie Douglas of Newberry, South Carolina. Her cousins, Rachel, Robert, Rebecca, Lauren, Michael and Matthew, and her special friends, Delcina Harbin, Sheena Perry, Amber Anderson and Jason Keith, will especially miss Charlotte. Graveside services and burial for Miss Parlier will be conducted Wednesday, May 25th, at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Sam Dalton will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
