Cheryll Lynn Mcguire

May 31, 1957 — June 18, 2020

Cheryll Lynn McGuire, 63 of Johnson City, died Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Chattahoochee, Florida, daughter of the late James Wilbur and Betty Marie Burke Lewis. Cheryll was a retired supervisor for Wal Mart of Johnson City for twenty six years. She was a member of Boones Creek Baptist Church.

Cheryll loved flowers, crafting, doing arts and crafts with Jaydenn and Maylee, her bible study and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, a daughter, Lisa Rena, a brother, Anthony Lewis and a nephew, Anthony Lewis preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory, her husband of 33 years, Willie McGuire; a daughter and son-in-law, Candice and Channing Hill: a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Katie McGuire; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Heather Lewis; five grandchildren, Breonna, Cameron, Brycen, Maylee (her Nana’s Princess) and Henry and a great grandson, Jaydenn (her Angel Boy); several nieces and nephews; special friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Boones Creek Baptist Church in the Family Life Center. A funeral service is to follow at 7:00 pm under the direction of Rev. Jason Royston. A committal service is to be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Monte Vista Memorial Park at 3:00 pm. Pallbearers will be: Matthew McGuire, Channing Hill, Cameron Hill, Brycen Hill, Kevin Hales and James Lewis. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 2:50 pm.
