Our beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Cinnamon Elaine Roberts Tyree, 71, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went home to be the Lord on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Cinnamon was born into the family of Willie R. Roberts and Pauline Hash Roberts on February 17, 1953 in Johnson City. She was one of 10 children.
She met and married the love of her life, Thomas “Lee” Tyree, and together they would reside in Johnson City. They shared 30 wonderful years together making memories and sharing special moments that will be forever precious to her family.
At 57 years old, Cinnamon would earn her Masters Degree in Criminal Justice at East Tennessee State University. She loved collecting Barbie dolls and spending time with her grandchildren.
Those remaining to cherish her memory include: her loving husband, Lee Tyree; son, Robert (Debra) Hensley; grandson, Justin (Tiffany) Hensley; granddaughter, Ashton Hensley; great-grandsons, Oakley Hensley and Shane Hensley; brother, Jerome Roberts; sisters, Tammy McCurry and Rosalie Byrd; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be having a private service to honor her life.
