CL Dockery Trentham, 91 of Williamsburg, Virginia, died Friday, January 17, 2020 in Williamsburg. She was a former longtime resident of Johnson City, since 1946. A native of Cocke County, she was the daughter of Lattie McNabb and Ethel “Geneva” Caldwell Dockery.
Mrs. Trentham was a member of the Johnson City First Church of God.
She was a retired cosmetology teacher at Science Hill High School, retired in 1993.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her husband of 69 years, Graden Trentham, Jr (2014); her siblings, Edna Dockery Haney and A.M. (Donald) Dockery.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Joanna Trentham of Williamsburg, Virginia; three sisters, Verlie Dockery Williams, Zollie Dockery Berry and Marie Dockery Miller; two brothers, Bob Dockery and Conley Dockery; two granddaughters, Deborah Stewart and Patricia Deyerle; five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 27, 2020, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park under the direction of Rev. Ron McEwen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: First Church of God, PO Box 5651, Johnson City, TN 37602.
The family would like to express gratitude to Sentara Hospice Services and to the caregivers at Morningside Assisted Living of Williamsburg, Virginia.
