Clayton Eugene Peck

Mr. Clayton E. Peck, 88, of Johnson City, passed Thursday, January 16, 2014. Clayton, a Rockford, IL native, was the son of the late James Clayton and Ruby Plartz Peck. In addition to his parents, his wife Dorothy preceded him in death. Mr. Peck served in the US Navy and was awarded the Victory Medal and American Campaign Medal for his service during World War II. A graveside committal service is scheduled for 11:30 AM on Friday, January 24, 2014 in Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for those services. The Boone Dam VFW will accord military honors.
