Clifton Henry “Cliff” Campbell, 67, of Johnson City, passed away on September 2, 2022 at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Johnson City, and a son of the late Chester Lawrence Campbell and Marie Mohler Campbell. He was also a graduate of Science Hill High School, going on to also graduate from ETSU. He attended service at Fountain of Life Bible Church.
Cliff was known for his friendliness, always making sure to get to know his neighbors and stop to say hello while out on one of his many dog walks. He loved old records and crossword puzzles, often completing the New York Times each week. For many years, he also enjoyed tending to personal aquariums, keeping many tropical fish and even a painted turtle over the years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Larry Campbell.
Those surviving include: two sisters, Janice Shanks and husband John, Beverly Brock and husband Mike; brother, Travis Campbell and wife, Wanda; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
A graveside service will be held for Cliff at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Those attending are asked to gather at the graveside by 1:50 PM.
