Connie Rose Hoilman

Connie Rose Puckett Hoilman, 64, of Johnson City, TN passed away on January 8, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Avery County, NC, she was born December 9, 1954, a daughter of the late L.D. Ingram and the late Josie Geneva Shell, and step-daughter of the late Homer P. Shell, Sr. She was a homemaker who enjoyed using her computer, researching family genealogy, camping and spending time with her family and beloved dog, Bella. Along with her parents, Connie was preceded in death by: one brother, Ralph Lynn Puckett; grandparents, Elijah and Rose Moody Puckett; and several aunts and uncles. Connie has left to cherish her memory: her husband, Michael Ray Hoilman, of the home; daughters, Christina Pearrell and husband, Buddy, of Elizabethton, and Amy Hoilman and partner, Melinda Koers, of Islamorada, FL.; grandchildren, Jennifer Hensley, Stephen Hensley and wife, Hannah, and Kendra Blevins, all of Johnson City, and Dawson Liam, of Islamorada, FL; great-grandchildren, Carter and Taylen Hensley, of Elizabethton; sisters, Sheri Cornett and husband, Larry, of Crossnore, NC, Melissa Baird and husband, Randy, of Elk Park, NC; and brother, Jamie Shell, of Elk Park, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Connie Rose Puckett Hoilman will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at 1:30 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Jamie Shell officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet in the mausoleum chapel by 1:20 PM.
