Danny C. ?Gaga' Wilson, 59, of Johnson City died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Johnson City, son of the late Dan H. Wilson and Lorna R. Davenport Wilson. Danny was paint and body repair shop owner ?Wilson?s Paint and Body Shop'. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cash Hollow. Danny was all about cars, racing NASCAR to dirt track and rod shows, anything having to do with cars. Survivors include: his son Jeremy Wilson of the home; his mother, Lorna Wilson of Johnson City; a daughter, Yolanda Baker of Greeneville; three grandchildren, Micah, Hezzikiah and Nehemiah all of Elizabethton; two brothers, George Wilson (wife Tammy) and Tom Wilson all of Johnson City; three sisters, Connie Wilson, Kathy Moody and Cindy Gentry all of Johnson City; nieces and nephews, Tanya, Emily, Becky, Kaylee, Tiffany, Jessica, Michelle, Scott, Thomas, Dusty, Ethan, Patience and Wendy; special nephew Bentley; several great nieces and nephews; former wife, Violet Wilson of Johnson City; his favorite pets, Moose, Bella and the Kitty. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 5:00pm in the Dogwood Chapel under the direction of Rev. Paul Crowe and Pastor Wilkie Brookshire. A committal service will be conducted on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Washington County Memory Gardens at 10:00am, with a procession leaving the funeral home at 9:30am. Active pallbearers will be: Jarvis Barnett, Cody Barnett, Arthur Sanders, Jr., Arthur ?Slick' Sanders, Sr., Casey Baker and Morris Kesecker and honorary pallbearers, Keith McNabb, Jeremy Wilson and Eddie Baker. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
