David Allen Hawkins

David Allen Hawkins, 72, of Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Washington County and a son of the late, Paul and Maxie Hawkins. He was also preceded in death by, one half sister, Faye Chance; two half brothers, Jerry and Rancey Mullins and one sister, Susie Graham. Mr. Hawkins was the owner of South Roan Service Center since 1972. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include; his companion of 17 years, Elizabeth Miller; one son, Jeffrey Allen Hawkins and his wife Robyn of Johnson City; two step sons, Gregory Lee Gunn and Eric Walter Gunn both of Johnson City; one half brother, Gene Mullins and his wife Linda of Jonesborough; one half sister, Dorothy Graham of MA; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jennifer Hawkins and one great grandchild, Christian Hawkins; a special uncle, Raymond Hawkins. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2012.
