David Allen Laughren

David Allen Laughren, 67, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was born in Johnson City, a son of the late Ted Laughren and Anna Bell Walker Laughren.

David was a family man, and especially cherished his grandchildren and the time he spent with them. He had a good heart and a kind attitude, willing to do anything for someone if he could. He liked to spend his time cooking, watching westerns, or listening to Elvis. If he had an audience, he could always be counted on for a good story or a game of pool.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda McNabb Laughren; children, Hazel Miller and Todd Lingstrim; and sisters, Penny and Faye.

He leaves behind two sons, David Laughren and Allen Laughren, as well as several brothers, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews to celebrate his memory.
