Mr. David Bulla, Sr., 76, of Johnson City, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015, in the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Mr. Bulla was a Washington County native. He was the son of the late Thomas Wade and Dollie Oliver Bulla. Mr. Bulla proudly served in the United States Navy. He was an owner/operator for DHP Enterprises. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Bill and Kenneth Bulla, and two sisters, Margaret ?Dink' Goodin and Mary Frances Garland. Survivors include: four children, Lovada Conner and her husband Ralph, David Bulla, Jr. and his wife Shelly, Kenneth Bulla and his wife Jo Beth, and Robin Blackwell and her husband Dickie; two sisters, Linda ?Tiny' Kinley and Lilly Mae Brown; two brothers, Butch and Jay Bulla; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. The family of Mr. David Bulla, Sr. will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Sunday, June 28, 2015, in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM Sunday in the chapel. Pastor Dennis Wilson will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 9:30 AM Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
