David C. Campbell

Mr. David C. Campbell, age 87, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Campbell was a native of Limestone Cove who had lived most of his life in Johnson City. He was the son of the late James and Bessie Campbell. In addition to his parents his wife, Martha 'Ruth'? Campbell also preceded him in death. Mr. Campbell was a U.S. Army WWII veteran having served in Germany and Austria. He retired from Burlington Industries after thirty years of service. He was a member of Snow Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Alan Campbell; one daughter, Linda Zinnanti and her husband Mark; one brother, Coy Campbell; one sister, Edith Moore; four grandchildren, Taylor Campbell, Katie Campbell, Nick Zinnanti and Erin Zinnanti. The graveside committal service for Mr. David Campbell will be conducted at 2:15 PM Monday, December 2, 2013 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Rusty Wishon will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Monday at Morris-Baker prior to the service.
