David H. Street

David H. Street, 79, 906 Afton Street, died Thursday, November 3, 2001 at NHC Healthcare. Mr. Street was a native of Washington County and had lived most of his life in this area. He was a son of the late Robert Street and Pearl Haws Street. Mr. Street was a former employee of Sealtest Bakery, the City of Johnson City and was a volunteer with the Salvation Army. He attended River of Life Church, Piney Flats, TN. Mr. Street is survived by his wife, Maybelle Blevins Street; one daughter, Beverly Honeycutt, Johnson City; two sons, Larry Hughes, Syracuse, NY and Carroll Hughes, Baltimore, MD; one sister, Dorothy Cooley, Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two nieces. A funeral service for Mr. Street will be conducted at 8 PM Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Pastor Donnie Humphrey will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Sunday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Honeycutt, Larry Hughes, Carroll Hughes, grandson, Larry Hughes, Eric Janne and John Honeycutt. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
