Deborah Ann Obele

December 29, 1960 — May 10, 2015

Deborah Ann Obele, 54, of Johnson City, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Deborah was a native of New York, NY. She was a daughter of the late Leroy and Beverly Delores Hale. To some of us she was our mother, to others she was our grandmother or a great aunt, but most of all, to all of us she was a wonderful woman of great nature. She was a very beautiful, outgoing person that everyone enjoyed being around. Deborah had the smile of an angel and knew how to work miracles in her own ways. For a woman who struggled in her years, she always had a joke or two up her sleeve. Love Lives On Those we love are never really lost to us ? We feel them in so many special ways - Through friends they always cared about And dreams they left behind, In beauty that they added to our days? In words of wisdom we still carry with us And memories that never will be gone? Those we love are never really lost to us ? For everywhere their special love lives on. ~A. Bradley Survivors include: five children, Lakisha Hale of Springfield, MA, David Hale of Springfield, MA, Asia Watkins and her husband Larry of Bristol, VA, Harrison Obele of Springfield, MA, and Daysia Davis of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Keiandra Hale, Duryl Hale, Aubrianna Hale, Davion Hale, David Hale, Shemar Hale, and Arabella Watkins; one great granddaughter, A?laya Hale; five siblings, Chris Hale, Delores Hale, Doc Hale, Betty Hale, and Leroy Hale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
