Debra Ann Phillips

Debra A. 'Debbie'? Phillips, 50 of 1506 King Springs Road, Johnson City went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Ted W. Nave and Mrs. Barbara A. Patterson. Debbie was a Co/Pastor and co/founder of the Victory Tabernacle for sixteen years. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Leatha Thomas and her paternal grandparents, Carl and Margaret Nave. Debbie and her husband Terry were married on July 4 for thirty-four years. She adored and loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Terry L. Phillips of the home; her mother, Barbara A. Patterson of Johnson City; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry L. Phillips, II and Amanda of Johnson City; a daughter and son-in-law, Leatha M. and Ashley Tipton of Gray; a sister and brother-in-law, Angela 'Angie'? and Donnie Payne of Gray; five grandchildren, Megan Phillips, Terry 'T'? Phillips, III, Deborah Alyce Phillips and Gabriel Tipton and Emilee Phillips; several nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew, Heather and Mitch Gortney and Donald Payne, II. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 in the South Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Pastor Dewey Ward and Pastor Todd Ellis. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at two. A committal service will be conducted in the Mausoleum Chapel of the Washington County Memory Gardens following the funeral service. Active pallbearers will be: Jacob Phillips, Mitch Gortney, Donald Payne, II, Michael Lyons, Jason Fegyak, Brad Stevens and Terry Phillips, III.
