Devon William Hicks-Haws, three months old, 1908 East Myrtle Avenue, Johnson City died Monday, December 19, 2005 at his residence. Devon was born on August 28, 2005 in Johnson City to William A. Haws and Sheri Lea Hicks, his parents. He is preceded in death by: his Paternal grandfather, Billy Hank Haws; His Paternal Great grandfather, Alvin Ramsey, Jr.; his Maternal great grandmother, Sylvia Lambert; an uncle, Travis L. Haws. Survivors include: his parents; one brother, Dakota Hicks of the home; the Paternal grandmother, Martha Haws, Panama City, FL; the Paternal Great grandmother, Jacklyn Ramsey, Panama City, FL; the Maternal grandparents, Carol and Allen Hicks of Gray; Maternal Great grandfather, James C. Lambert of Johnson City; Maternal Great grandparents, Roy and Christine Hicks of Gray; uncle, Scott A. Hicks of Gray; Aunts, Shannon Buchanan and Jessica M. Hicks, both of Gray. Several cousins also survive. The graveside funeral service for Devon William Hicks-Haws will be conducted at 2:30 PM Friday, December 23, 2005 in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Mr. Richard Burton will officiate. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker Funeral Home from 1 to 2 PM Friday. Everyone will go in procession to the cemetery after the visitation. To those who desire, the family request that memorials be made to the family.
