Diana Jean Trinkle, 28, of 183 Old State Route 34, Jonesborough, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Bristol, Tennessee a daughter of Eddie Trinkle and the late Patsy Rouse Trinkle. Diana was a member of the Saint Marys Catholic Church and the E.T.S.U. Catholic Center. She was a Rosary maker who loved to read, work with children and assisted with the Soul Youth Group. Survivors including her father are: her sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Adam Meltzer of Winston-Salem, NC; her maternal grandmother, Mary Rouse of Bristol, TN; her paternal grandmother, Geraldine Trinkle of Bluff City; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a special friend and 'surrogate mom'?, Lee Bryan of Kingsport; her church family from St. Marys and her many friends. A Rosary and Mass are scheduled for 9:45am and 10:00 am respectively on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at St. Marys Catholic Church, under the direction of Rev. Akata. The family will receive friends from 9:15 am. A committal service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. in the Rooty Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: St. Marys Catholic Church, 2211 E. Lakeview Drive, Johnson City, TN 37601.
