Dolores Florence Williams, of Bluff City, passed away at home Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the age of 79. A native of Johnson City, she was the daughter of the late John & Olive Pickering. Dolores was truly a lady who was loved by all with whom she came in contact. Those of us who are blessed to have been part of her life will remember her grace, compassion; her love of God, family, friends and even strangers. She was a long-standing and dedicated member of Bluff City United Methodist Church and one of her greatest joys was spending time with the Church?s shut-ins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Price, and one sister, Barbara Blevins. Her greatest love was her family. She is survived by her husband of 32 years and love of her life, Lloyd Williams; one daughter; Terry Price Ford and husband, Bobby Ford of Jefferson City; one son, Jonathan Williams and wife, Ruth Williams of Bristol; and three grandchildren, Jessa Williams, Jemma Williams and Thomas Williams; one brother, Glenn Pickering and wife Judy Pickering of Jonesborough; two sisters, Tonya Barnett of Jonesborough, and Julia Patricia Taylor of Elizabethton; two brothers-in-law, George Williams of Radford, VA and Sam Price Jr. of Henderson , NV; as well as several special nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Dolores? request was that donations be made to Bluff City United Methodist Church, 468 Cedar St., Bluff City, TN 37618 The family of Dolores Williams will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday March 25, 2018 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Dan L. Gray, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be: Darrell Pickering, Randy Pickering, Eddie Matthews, Philip Brown, Daniel Buck, Johnny Peters, Terry Pickering and Troy Pickering. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Randy Williams, Denny Williams, Ronnie Williams, and Gary Williams, Edward Taylor, and Bill Littleford. Committal services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted 10:00 am, Monday, March 26, 2018 at the U. S. National Cemetery at Mountain Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 am for those services.
