Don Cline, 80, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at NHC Healthcare in Johnson City. He was born in Hunington County, IN and was a graduate of Union Township High School. After serving two years in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, he worked on the Erie Railroad for a short time before attending I. U. and graduating from the School of Business. He worked at Fisher-Body (GM) and the Chronicle-Tribune in Marion, IN before moving to Johnson City with his wife Barbara in the mid seventies. He retired from Alemite in 1996.Mr. Cline was preceded in death by his mother ,father ,brother, aunt and wife Barbara Cline. Don is survived by his daughter, Susan Bass and her husband, Mike of Jonesborough, and Susans sister Angela Adams and their mother Phyllis Hoffman Cline Adams both of Johnson City. Other survivors include his uncle Richard Cline and his wife, Dorie of Walkerton, IN, also many cousins, several brothers in law and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 6, 2011 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Jim Chatman will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday. A visitation and burial services will be held in Hunington, IN. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the Disabled American Veterans, P O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250 or to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA
