This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.' 1 John 5:4 Mrs. Donna Kay Moore, 56, of Johnson City, passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Donna was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of Lynn Johnson and Brenda Whaley. She grew up in the Keystone community. She attended Science Hill High School. She loved her siblings dearly. She was like a second mother to them and she helped raise her sister and brothers. She spent her adult life committed to her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family meant everything to her. She was ever present in her children and grandchildren?s lives. She was married to her life-long love Robert. They were inseparable from the day they met. She was a dedicated volunteer at her church and at JCNLL, among other organizations. She loved to read, cook, discuss politics and attend and participate in activities at Keystone Presbyterian Church, that she was raised in and still attended. Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Robert Allen Moore, Jr.; one daughter Candice Moore Corby; one son Robert ?Bobby' Moore and his wife Brittany; one granddaughter Casey Mosley; one grandson Peter Corby; one sister Robin Lovelace and her husband Jeff; Two brothers Lewis Johnson and Thomas Johnson; several nieces, nephews and inlaws. The family of Mrs. Donna Moore will receive friends from 4:00 pm ? 5:00 pm, Sunday October 22, 2017 at Keystone Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 om with Tom Bier officiating. The family request that memorial contributions be made to Haven of Mercy Rescue Mission and Johnson City National Little League.
