Dora Lois Proctor

Dora Lois Williams Proctor, 77, of Altamonte Springs, Fla., formerly of Greenway Drive of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Life Care of Altamonte Springs Nursing Home in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was a Warrenton, NC native and lived in Johnson City from 1963 until 2000. Mrs. Proctor was the daughter of the late Richard and Lucy Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey and by three grand children, Clarence Nave, Paige Proctor and Corey Proctor. Mrs. Proctor was a Customer Service Representative working for J. C. Pennys in Johnson City. She was a member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.Survivors include; two daughters, Francine Proctor, San Jose, CA and Teri Eveland of Chicago, IL; two sons, Archie Proctor, Hampton, TN and W. Nelson Proctor of Taylors, SC; two sisters, Lucy Williams and Barbara Holtzman; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted in the Morris-Baker South Chapel at 7:00 pm Sunday. Rev. Mike Pelham will officiate. Burial will be conducted in the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 10:00 am on Monday. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9:45 am Monday and proceed to the cemetery.
