Dorothy Elizabeth Craddick

Dorothy Elizabeth ?Betty' Craddick, 82, of Gray, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Mooresburg, daughter of the late George Edd and Cecil Buchanan. Betty was a secretary in her youth, then was a school bus driver while raising her three children. Later in life she drove a van for seniors and also worked at Mail Works, Inc. Betty loved her family and enjoyed traveling, laughing and music. She was active at Grandview Christian Church. Betty enjoyed playing piano and played for church services at Pine Oaks Nursing Center. She was loved and will be missed by many. Betty had a son, Todd who died in infancy; son, Edwin (wife Angel) Craddick of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Missy Jaffe (partner, Lora Burns) of Holiday, FL; daughter Julie (husband, Leon) Dover of Johnson City. Other survivors include: brother and sister-in-law, George Edd and Brenda Buchanan of Church Hill, a sister, Georgia Shropshire of Mooresburg; two grandchildren, Matthew Craddick (wife, Stacey) and Morgan Craddick (fianc?, Austin Kamaka). A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Grandview Christian Church, under the direction of Aaron Wymer.
