Eddie Joe Bryant

Eddie Joe Bryant, 64, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Johnson City, son of the late David S. and Cleo Fannie Dykes Bryant. Eddie was a machine operator in the manufacturing industry. He was of Baptist faith. Eddie loved to watch NASCAR and especially enjoyed Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Junior. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and working on old cars. In addition to his parents, four brothers, Jeffery, Ronald, Richard and Billy Bryant, preceded him in death. Survivors include: his wife, Kathy Story Bryant of the home; two daughters, Monica Bryant (fianc?, Jason Hamblen) and Jennifer Hollars (husband, Nathan) all of Johnson City; a brother, Bob Bryant (wife, Charlotte) of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Karen Bennett (husband, Jimmy) of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Austin Lane, Hailey Hollars, and Emma Hollars; several nieces and nephews; and his special pets, Shelby and Sara. Mr. Bryant is to be cremated and there are no public services scheduled.
