Edna Jane West

Edna Jane West, 88, of Johnson City, was welcomed into heavens gates and Gods loving arms on August 5, 2013 at her home. She was a native of Unicoi County, a daughter of the late Mallie and Nelia Pate West. In addition to her parents, her brother, William West, and three sisters, Edith Kelly, Bertha Howell and Viola West, preceded her in death. Survivors include: her best friend and loving sister, Bessie Britt and her special nieces, Helen 'Marie'? Honaker and Wanda 'Susie'? Arwood; special nephew, Roy Howell; several other nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Special thanks go to Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they showed to Edna, Bessie and Marie. Also special thanks to the Ladies Prayer Group of Milligan Free Will Baptist Church. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 3:00pm in the Mosley Cemetery at Limestone Cove. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery.
