Edna Minks Leonard

Mrs. Edna Minks Leonard, age 91, of Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Leonard was a native of Johnson County. She was the daughter of the late Ross M. Minks and Ida Heck Minks. In addition to her parents her husband, Linkes J. Leonard; one brother, James E. Minks also preceded her in death. Mrs. Leonard was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith. Survivors include two sisters, Nina Lee Green and Ella M. Minks; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Edna Minks Leonard will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, April 5, 2013, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Lon Tobin will officiate. The graveside committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Friday prior to the service.
