Edward L. Lloyd Fry, Sr.

Edward Lloyd Fry, Sr., 81, of 1440 Piedmont Road, Johnson City died Friday, October 16, 2009 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Fry was a native of Piney Flats and had lived in Johnson City for most of his life. He was a son of the late J. E. Fry and Gertie Curtis Fry of Johnson City. Mr. Fry was a retired employee of Klopman Mills with forty-nine years of service. He was a member of the Holiness Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mr. Fry is preceded in death by his father, and one brother, James Oscar Fry. Survivors other then his mother include: his wife, June Hyatt Fry of the home; one son, Edward L. Fry, Jr. of Johnson City; three sisters-in-law, Dora Sauls of Limestone, Ida Smith and Ruby Tester ,both of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Edward L. Fry, Sr. will be conducted at 7:30 PM Sunday, October 18, 2009 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Lon Tobin will officiate. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 7:30 PM prior to the service. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM Monday, October 19, 2009 in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 AM.
