Heaven?s gates swung wide open, early this Spring Monday morning, March 21, 2016, as our Queen Mother, Eileen Rose Pearce Gilliam, alighted from her chartered chariot, to place her dancing feet on streets of gold. A heavenly orchestra ushered Eileen to her reception party, just past the gates of pearl, toward the throne room of Almighty God. A glorious celebration ensued as she was greeted by kith and kin. Mum and Marie welcomed her with open arms while Neal and David embraced her in the circle of eternal life. God, himself, wiped away her tears and crowned her with peace and righteousness. Her beloved children Tony, Patsy, Pam, Penny and Sabrina gave her their blessings to go before them, to rest on Heaven?s shore. Promising to meet at the pre- appointed place, The River of Life. Eileen was a war bride from London, England. She was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her family, a good hot cup of tea, her dancing shoes, a long ride in the country, and beautiful flower gardens. She had a great sense of humor and was quite the performer. Mom?s presence commanded attention and when she quoted her poetry, all gave ear to her verses. Loved by all who met her, cherished by those who loved her, and inspired by those to whom she ministered. She was the heart and soul of our family. We will love her forever, we will like her for always, as long as we are living, our mother she will be. Eileen was preceded in death by: her parents, George David and Mary Rose Reynolds Pearce; husband of 46 years, Rev. C.V. ?Neal' Gilliam, Jr.; one brother, George Pearce; one sister, Marie McNally; and one son, David V. Gilliam. Survivors include: five children, Rev.
