Elizabeth A. (Smith) Miller, age 91, of Johnson City, entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the home of her son.
Elizabeth was born on May 27, 1928 to Lon and Mable (Cash) Smith in Washington County, Tennessee.
She attended Keystone Presbyterian Church in Johnson City.
Elizabeth’s passion in life was her family. She took great pleasure in cooking and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Miller; son, Jack Miller; daughter, Shirlene Miller; granddaughter, Sherry Cooper; great-granddaughter, Harley Cooper; brothers, L.C. Smith and Jackie Odell Smith; and sisters, Edith Smith and Irene Turner.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Billy Wayne (and Michele) Miller of Johnson City; sister, Lynda (and Ron) Street of Jonesborough; grandchildren, Jack Miller, Jimmy Miller, Jody Miller, Shane Miller, Dylan Miller, and Jamie Miller; eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joann Miller of Gray; sisters-in-law, Joanne and Betty; and several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth’s family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Monte Vista Memorial Park, under the direction of Rev. Tony Birchfield. Please meet at the cemetery by 2:20 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Keystone Presbyterian Church (504 Bert St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
