Eugene O. Lockhart, Sr.

Eugene O. Lockhart, Sr., 87, Johnson City, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Lockhart was a New Orleans, LA native who lived most of his life in the Johnson City area. He was a son of the late Joseph Michael and Mary Aufdemorte Lockhart.
He was a United States Air Force veteran and a graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans.
Mr. Lockhart worked as district sales representative for Ford Motor Company prior to serving as plant manager at Mayes Brothers Tool Manufacturing until his retirement.
Mr. Lockhart was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Joan Mayes Lockhart; two daughters, Kay Michelle King and Linda Patricia Freeman; three brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include: two sons, Eugene Lockhart, Jr., and his wife Julie, and Paul Lockhart; two daughters, Mary Anne McClain, and her husband Bronce, and Susan McCloud; four brothers; two sisters; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family of Eugene Lockhart, Sr. will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday, June 10, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am Monday with Father Peter Iorio officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The committal service will follow in Monte Vista Memorial Park.
