Eva Carolyn Curtis

Carolyn M. Curtis, 68, of 472 Tavern Hill Road, Jonesborough, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Bristol, Virginia, daughter of the late Clarence Alexander and Eva Akers Malcolm. Carolyn was a former employee of TPI and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James C. 'Bobby'? Dishner, a sister, Dorothy Mumpower, two brothers, Fred A. and Paul I. Malcolm, a step-brother, Farris Malcolm and her adoptive parents, Clinton and Carrie Malcolm. Survivors include: her two daughters, Lisa C. Faulkner and Amy C. Dishner both of Jonesborough; three brothers, Harold C. Malcolm of Bristol, TN; Bill R. and Jim C. Malcolm both of Bristol, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Gospel Light Tabernacle, under the direction of Rev. David Nunley and Rev. Daniel Nunley. The family will be available to receive friends at 1:00 p.m. until time of service and following the service.
