Eva W. Starner Hare Lehman, 95, passed away peacefully December 3, 2013 at the Continuum Courtyards in Johnson City, TN. She was born in Harrisburg, PA November 12, 1918 to George F. and Cora A. Starner. Mrs. Lehman was a graduate of John Harris High School in 1936. She was a member of Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1930. She proudly worked for the state of PA as a secretary, including personal secretary for Sen. George W. Wade for 10 years. She was a member of A.B.W.A. for many years and also enjoyed volunteer work. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Lehman, daughter, Patricia Hare Carter, brothers; Robert and Bruce Starner and sister, Dorothy Livingston. She is survived by her two sons; Frank Hare (Kathy) and Timothy Hare (Earl Ball), five grandchildren; Krista Hare Ivester (Sam), Hank Hare (Beth), Andrew Hare (Kelly), Robert G. Carter (Jessica), Jennifer Carter Mulle (David) and fifteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lehman was a graduate of John Harris High School in 1936. She was a member of Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1930. She proudly worked for the state of PA as a secretary, including personal secretary for Sen. George W. Wade for 10 years. She was a member of A.B.W.A. for many years and also enjoyed volunteer work. Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA., on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
