Evelyn Trammell

Evelyn Trammell, 78, 822 Harding Ave., died Monday, November 19, 2007 at NHC Healthcare. Mrs. Trammell was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Katie Hawk Mitchell. Her husband, James Trammell and two brothers, Fred Mitchell and Charlie Mitchell, preceded Mrs. Trammell in death. She was retired from the Johnson City School System. Mrs. Trammell was a Baptist. Survivors include three sons, Kim Trammell and his wife, Patricia, of Johnson City, Gary Trammell and his wife, Kathy, of Oak Ridge and CR Trammell and his wife, Debbie, of Canton, GA; one sister, Helen Saylor, of Johnson City; one sister-in-law, Mabel Mitchell, of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Brian Trammell and his wife Jenny, of Johnson City, Nicole Saltsman, of Johnson City, Paige Trammell and Alex Trammell both of Canton, GA; one great grandchild, Hannah Saltsman; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Trammell will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday, November 21, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Gary Thacker and Reverend Harold McNabb will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Pallbearers will be Brian Trammell, Jeremy Bosken, Andy Osbolt, Greg Collins, Luke Story and Terry Peterson. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The family expresses a special thanks to the following staff members at NHC Healthcare, Anthony Webb, Steven Gurley, Wendy Tapp, Stephanie Boswell, Lorie Hampton, Angela Flemmer, Natasha Greenlee, Carol Shull, Sandara Collins and Lisa Gillis.
