Frances D. Feathers

Frances D. Feathers, 69, of 544 Crest Court, Johnson City, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Feathers was a native of Washington County, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late David and Virginia Cardwell Surcey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Green Pine Baptist Church. Mrs. Feathers is preceded in death by: her parents; and her husband, Robert D. Feathers on July 4th, 2007 after fifty-four years of marriage. Mrs. Feathers will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include: one son, Robert E. Feathers of Johnson City; three daughters, Theresa Wyatt and Beverly Cretsinger, both of Gray, TN and Angela Frye of Johnson City; one brother, James Surcey of Johnson City; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service for Frances D. Feathers will be conducted at 11 AM Sunday, April 20, 2008 in the Green Pine Baptist Church. Rev. Ted Cutshaw and Rev. Terry Howell will officiate.
