Frances Robertson Adams

Frances Robertson Adams, 71, died peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Life Care Center of Gray. She was the daughter of the late James B. Robertson and Joan Robertson of Piney Flats, TN. Frances is survived by her son, Craig Adams of Asheville, NC; and her sister and brother-in-law, Kaye and James Turner of Ocala, FL. She was a graduate of Mary Hughes High School class of 1963 and a member of Piney Flats Presbyterian Church. She loved laughing, dancing, shopping, her flower gardens, and the beach. She never met a stranger and was happiest in a crowd of people. Frances was a vibrant and colorful person; as a way to remember her, please feel free to wear vibrant and colorful clothes to her service. She would have liked that. Flowers are welcomed. Those who desire may make contributions in her memory to Piney Flats Presbyterian Church, 6400 Hwy 11-E, Piney Flats, TN 37686. The Frances Robertson Adams family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2017, in the Morris Baker Dogwood Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Friday with Rev. Robert Rainwater officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in the Shell Cemetery, Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
