Frank Charles Coffman, 52, beloved father, brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 25, 2008. Mr. Coffman was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Ed and Tennie Mae Miller Coffman and a sister, Mary Louise Greene. Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law; Dorothy Marie Coffman of Gray, Cindy Lynn and Chad Curtis of Jonesborough and Jennifer Leigh Coffman of Johnson City; three brothers, Samuel Ed Coffman, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland, Ralph Curtis Coffman of Johnson City and Sherman Lawrence Coffman of Baltimore, Maryland; two sisters, Edna Mae Tate of Johnson City and Betty Ruth Jones of Danville, Alabama; his former wife and close friend, Dorothy Coffman of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 29, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. Homer Jones and Rev. Dennis Greene. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. The family will also receive friends at other times at the home of his sister at 1205 Shelby Street, Johnson City. A commital service will be conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2008 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession at 9:45 a.m. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
