Gary Greer

Mr. Gary Greer, age 59 of Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Greer was a native of Washington County. He was the son of the late Lester and Pearl Greer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Tony Greer; two brothers, Louis Greer and Larry Greer; one sister, Diane Greer; nephews, William 'Billy'? Ealey and Robert Greer. Mr. Greer was a self-employed mechanic. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-one years, Lillie Faye Greer of the home; two sons, Gary Dean Greer and Angel Justice of Telford and Dale Lee Greer and Joyce Hill of Johnson City; two brothers Randy Greer and his wife Mary Jane of Johnson City and Kenneth Greer and his wife Karen of Limestone; three sisters, Wanda Ealey and her husband David of Jonesborough, Geraldine Broadwater of Johnson City and Judy Esterline of Goose Creek, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service for Mr. Gary Greer will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Johnson City. Rev. Lon Tobin will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Dale Greer, Sr., Dale Greer, Jr., Gary Dean Greer, Sr., Gary Dean Greer, Jr., Cecil Wishon, Randy Greer, Michael Robinson, Chris Robinson and James Hall. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 9:15 AM Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Monday at Morris-Baker.
