Gary Lee Snyder

With a heavy heart, we announce that Gary Lee Snyder, age 67, a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away August 22, 2022.

While Gary loved his family, his girls, and grandsons, his happy place was nature. There were few places he would rather be than outside hiking, camping, hunting, or chasing a waterfall.

Gary was an absolute prankster and loved to make people laugh, even if it was at their own expense.

Gary had an incredible mind when it came to building or creating things. From sewing his own hunting clothes, to manufacturing equipment, he was always tinkering with something, big or small.

Gary will be deeply missed.

Gary is survived by his two children, Leann Snyder-Dosher and Kristen Snyder; 4 grandsons, Tyelor, Nathan, Lukas, and Harper; and his 5 siblings, George Snyder, John Snyder, Jeanette Brown, Bill Snyder, and Ed Snyder.

Gary will be cremated, and a gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.

Gary's ashes will be laid to rest with his mother, Thelma Snethcamp Snyder, in Ohio.
