Gary M. Burnette

Mr. Gary M. Burnette, age 59, of Johnson City, passed away, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Burnette was a native of Sanford, North Carolina. He was the son of the late John Burnette and Betty McClenny Burnette. Mr. Burnette was a supervisor for John Phillips Painting for several years. Survivors include: his loving wife of fifteen years, Cindy Burnette of the home; two daughters; one sister, Karen Kilburn and her husband Kurt; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The graveside committal service for Mr. Gary M. Burnette will be conducted at 2:15 PM Monday, March 5, 2012 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Arnold Vest and Pastor Carl Bishop will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Monday at Morris-Baker prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Greenwood Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Burnette, 102 Elliott And Scott Circle, Johnson City, Tn. 37604.
