Gary Zdonowicz

Gary Zdonowicz, 45, of Cookeville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Johnson City and a son of Pelham and Yvonne Morgan Zdonowicz of Johnson City. Mr. Zdonowicz was a long distance truck driver for Roane Transportation Services of Rockwood, TN. In addition to his parents survivors include; his fiancee, Sandy Warren of Cookville; one sister, Yvette Slagle of Telford and one brother, Jonathon Zdonowicz of Elizabethton; one daughter, Alicia Bellinger of Valdosta, GA and one son, Phillip Zdonowicz of Mt. Juliet, TN; three Granddaughters and two Grandsons; a maternal Grandfather, William Leonard of Jonesborough; several Aunts and Uncles, Sharon and Norman Light, Angela and Greg Sanders, Gene and Diane Leonard, Mike and Patty McMackin, Carolyn and Earl Blankenship, Tommy Leonard, Michael Morgan and Carol Overdorff; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A private gathering for family members will be held at Morris-Baker Funeral Home from 12 noon til 2pm on Friday, October 21, 2011 followed by the graveside service which will be conducted at the Washington County Memory Gardens at 2:30 pm Friday. Rev. Lester Lattany of Jerusalem Baptist Church will officiate. This service will be open to the public. Active pallbearers will be Norman Light, Greg Sanders, Gene Leonard, Tommy Leonard, Mike McMackin and Cannon Zdonowicz. An honorary pallbearer will be Mike Morgan. Friends are encouraged to join the procession at 2 pm from the funeral home to his resting place. .
