George Cecil Orren

Johnson City- Mr. George Cecil Orren, 87, of 915 Pine Grove Ave., died Monday, July 18, 2011, at his home. A native of Johnson City, he was the son of the late Robert and Pearl Campbell Orren. Mr. Orren was a dealer representative with Volunteer Oil for 47 years. He was also a member of East Pine Grove Park United Methodist Church. PRECEDED: In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Pauline Orren; three sisters, an infant sister Pauline Orren, Mildred Louise Durham, and Gladys Honeycutt; and six brothers, W. H., Albert 'Dud'?, Robert, Elmer, James, and Vernon F. Orren. SURVIVED: He is survived by his daughter, Guilda Orren; son, George ' Tommy'? Orren; grandson, David Orren; former daughter-in-law, Patsy Orren, all of Johnson City, sister, Carolyn Orren Tipton of Piney Flats; brother, Robert E. Orren of Washington, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 20, 2011, from 11-1 pm, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. SERVICES: Services will be held, Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 1:00pm, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel. BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Monte Vista Cemetery.
