Georgia Ann Crain

Georgia Ann Crain, 64, 2213 Midway Street, Johnson City, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Crain was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late John Jay and Helen Myers Robinson. In addition to her parents one brother, John Robinson, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Crain was retired from the Upper East Tennessee Headstart and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her husband, Herman Pat Crain of the home; two sons, Timothy Ray Crain of Johnson City and Christopher John Crain and his wife Susan of Fall Branch; two brothers, Paul Knuckles of Johnson City and Claude J. Robinson of Elizabethton; two sisters, Helen Marie Cox of Johnson City and Linda Woodby of Hampton; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Georgia Ann Crain will be conducted at 8 PM Wednesday, September 24, 2008 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Ken Kehrer will officiate. The entombment service will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the funeral chapel at 1:15 PM to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday prior to the service.
