Georgia Dougherty

Georgia Marie Dougherty, 60, passed away on Sudnay, September 16, 2018, a the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on October 7, 1957, in Johnson City. She lived her whole life on her parents? farm in Watauga Flats, where she loved to work in the garden and mow the lawn. She drove a school bus for Washington County schools, and also worked at American Water Heater until she retired. Georgia is preceded in death by: her father, Carl Osborne; brother, Willie Ray Osborne; and brother-in-law, Curtis Sammons. Survivors include: her mother, Lottie Osborne; Son, Brad Dougherty and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Savannah and Anthony; step-grandchildren, Samantha, James, and Kristain; Brothers, Homer Osborne and his wife Tonya, and Benny Osborne and his wife Tammy; Sisters, Brenda Sammons and Martha Hall; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Terry Cox, Angia and Dean Tolley for their continued love and support of Georgia and her family.
