Georgia Elizabeth Zillinger

Georgia Elizabeth 'Jo'? Zillinger, 91, formerly of Johnson City, died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Brandon, Mississippi. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late David Ross and Vaultie Elizabeth Leach. Jo was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sebastian Zillinger in 2004; a son, Robert Wayne Zillinger in 1972; a sister, Bernice Leach; two brothers, Dayton and Wayne Leach. Survivors include: a daughter, Linda Ann Ohrt of Perrysburg, Ohio; a son, Larry Alan Zillinger of Brandon, Mississippi, five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Wilson, Morristown, Marlene Curtis of Tampa, Florida, Mona Lovell of California and Rita Ann Thomason of Johnson City; a brother, Farrell Leach of Johnson City. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Ed Scarbrough. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the Eden Cemetery following the funeral service. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
