Georgia Lee Keys

May 5, 1934 — February 4, 2024

Niota

Georgia Lee Keys, of Niota, Tennessee, was a woman who loved the Lord and her family.

Born Georgia Lee Honeycutt in North Carolina, she was a caring daughter and sister. After moving to East Tennessee, she enjoyed marriage to Charles Edgar Keys until his passing in 1989. They took a glowing pride in raising their four children.

She was just as devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, making a lasting impact in their lives. Georgia was always up for a new challenge as she approached life with zest and a can-do attitude that few could rival.

As her family carries on, her spirit will guide and inspire us to live a life with purpose and intent on loving each other, loving God, and doing our very best no matter life’s hardships. The memory of her gentle smile will be a constant reminder to slow down, have fun, and laugh along the way.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet there by 1:50 PM.
