Georgia Lee Miller

Georgia L. Miller, 60, 879 Dyer Street, died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Miller was a Sullivan County native and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Brownlow and Callie Perry Sheets. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Fairbanks Miller. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Miller was a former employee of Leon Ferenbach, Inc. Survivors include her children, one son, Jeff Miller, Johnson City, daughters, Melinda DePriest, Elizabeth Miller and Rosemary Clemons all of Johnson City; one sister, Shirley Sheets, Piney Flats; one brother, Clarence Sheets, Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Gregory Gunn, Eric Gunn, Benjamin DePriest, Michael DePriest and Joseph Clemons and several half brothers and half sisters. A graveside service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Lyons Chapel Cemetery, Elizabethton, TN. Reverend Steve Waycaster and Reverend Larry Barr will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
