?Well done my good and faithful servant'. Georgia Mae King, of Piney Flats, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Johnson City. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Dewey and Matilda Street Byrd. Georgia was a former secretary and worked for over 25 years on the family dairy farm. She loved to cook meals for neighbors and friends. In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Lynn King in 1996; an infant daughter; two brothers, Carlos Byrd and Rev. D. C. Byrd; three sisters, Learly Campbell, Betty Lyons and Velma Jean Gray. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Teresa Ann King of Piney Flats; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Lynn and Mike Calhoun of Blountville; a brother, D. H. Byrd and his wife Betty of Jonesborough; a sister, Ida Hanusovski of Johnson City; three grandchildren, Justin Calhoun and his wife Amy, John King and his wife Sarah and Lauren King; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00am at the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. Roy Yelton and Rev. Paul Crowe. The Quillin Family will provide music for the service. A committal service will be held following the funeral service at the New Bethel Cemetery in Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be: Darrell Byrd, Terry Burleson, Jerry Carr, Denny and Danny Carver, Richard and Tim Byrd, Justin Calhoun and John King.
