Gladys Stacy

Gladys Myers Stacy, 88, formerly of 1817 Sundale Road, Johnson City, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Center on Aging and Health in Erwin. She was a native of Unicoi County, daughter of the late Green Henry and Nettie Owens Myers and had lived in Johnson City most of her life. She was of the Methodist faith and was a retired employee of King?s Department Store and also worked at Massengills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene W. Stacy in 1983 and three brothers, Howard, Grady and Walter Myers. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Earl 'Butch' Bundy of Johnson City; a sister, Ruth Butler of Seaside, California; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, 2006 in the Roselawn Memory Gardens at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Rev. Terry Wright, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Morris - Baker Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, 2006. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
