Gladys Street Robinson, 79, 113 Fairlawn Drive, Johnson City died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Hillview Healthcare Center in Elizabethton. Mrs. Robinson was a native of Mitchell County, NC and had lived most of her life in Johnson City and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a daughter of the late Lonie and Daisy Street and was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Robinson in 2000. Mrs. Robinson was survived by one daughter, Marsha Kay Robinson, Johnson City; two sons, Randall Robinson and his wife Teresa, Elizabethton and Michael Lynn Robinson and his wife Linda, Johnson City; one sister, Lola Cox, Sulpher Springs; one aunt, Elizabeth Mackeil, Johnson City; one uncle, Jeter Campbell; one cousin, Leon White; five grandchildren, Janey Ann Robinson, Elizabethton, Bradley Harwell Robinson, Johnson City, Kaycie Lynn Street Robinson, Johnson City, Kadey Nicole Robinson, Elizabethton and Michael Paul Robinson, Elizabethton; two nephews, Bryan Thompson, Sulpher Springs and Bill Thompson, New Port Richie, FL and her special friend and caregiver Barbara Williams, Johnson City. A funeral service for Mrs. Robinson will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, June 2, 2006 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Dick Morris will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Saturday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marty Street, Eddie Estep, Leon White, Bill Thompson, and Don Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Taylor, Louis Johnson and Ron Crowe.
