Glen A. Brock, age 82 died Sunday June 24, 2007 at NHC in Johnson City. Mr. Brock was a veteran in the U. S. Army serving as a medic in World War II. He had a long business career with Park-Davis Pharmaceuticals and Federated Department Stores in Atlanta, GA. He moved to Johnson City to be close to family in his retirement. Mr. Brock is preceded in death by his parents Creed and Ruth Brock of Benton, TN and his brothers Warren C. Brock of Johnson City and twin Gene Brock of Sebring, FL. He is survived by 'his girls'?, nieces Cecilia Brock Bulla, Beverly Brock Vaughn, Jenny L. Brock, Melita Brock Warner, step-niece Dianne Laws Everhart and special sister-in-law Virginia Brock Laws all of Johnson City. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Uncle Glen, as he was affectionately known by his nieces and family friends was a gourmet cook and loved to listen to Billy Holiday music. He passed on many life lessons to 'his girls'? who later in life cared for him. He will be missed. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of NHC who treated him with great care and kindness. Mr. Brock will be interred beside his twin brother in Benton, TN.
