Glenn N. Souders, 83, of Johnson City died Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his residence. He was a native of the Bronx, New York, son of the late Frank L. Souders and Ruth Marie Barber Souders Kanoff. Glenn was a retired Methodist pastor, this was a late in life career change and he was very proud of this after having many other endeavors in his life. He attended Grace Gospel Church. Glenn served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann Souders and his grandmother, Marie Etta Barber. Survivors include: his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sandy Souders of Johnson City, daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Greg McHargue of New Brunswick, GA and son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Bob) and Jean Souders of Antelope, CA; Martin D. and Carrie Miller Souders, Dena J. Spiesz and Danny J. Souders and Trina Rowlands Souders; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson: cousin, Marie R. Pakowski of Fairview, TX; Chris Hilton and her four children and ten grandchildren; and his beloved Shih-Tzu, King. The family will receive friends at 11:30 am Friday, September 14, 2018. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm under the direction of Rev. Mike Richards in the Oak Chapel at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:30 pm, family and friends are asked to assemble at the Annex Cemetery by 2:20 pm.
